Plants for Tarpaulins

Coatex develops high technology machine for the production of tarpaulins. Tarpaulins and canvases are produced by direct PVC coating; the roll of fabric is unwound at a constant speed for air coating with a small quantity of PVC which facilitates the adhesion of the next layer and the closure of the holes in the fabric. Then the fabric passes through a drying oven for pre-gelling and finally cooled. The products can be characterised with outstanding tear and abrasion resistance and fire-retardant. A large variety of surface finishings can be obtained by embossing, as well as printing and lacquering. The products obtained in this way are used for industrial and sports covering, tarpaulins for trucks, sun canvases and tents, etc.
